Addressing the Housing Crisis
We need to get on course to increase urban housing supply by at least 2% per year for the foreseeable future.
We can do this by removing zoning and other obstacles to construction; creating incentives to build; and even having the State build the housing itself, if necessary.
I also believe in a reasonable statewide limit on rent increases for long term residents, and giving local governments more freedom to set stricter limits.
