California incarcerates at 6 times the rate of Canada.

This is a terrible sickness (and symptom) in our society.

Our people are not 6 times worse than the Canadians.

​

We can reduce incarceration by five-sixths and I plan to come at this from all angles to do so.

Sentencing Reform

Prison Reform (making the time count, instead of just making troubled people more troubled).

Programs and opportunities to steer people away from crime.

Bold solutions to homelessness and desperation (this may include universal basic income).

Adaptive education that supports all young people in the way they need to be supported.

Guidance counselors for adults.
